M.S. in Psychology (online)

The Master of Science in Psychology at Divine Mercy University is a unique 33-credit hour, 100% online program that allows students to explore the richness of understanding behaviors, emotions, and thoughts through the study of psychology to aid self and others in flourishing. Students learn to integrate a Catholic-Christian vision of the person with best practices in psychological theory, research, and intervention. It provides competency in the study of modern scientific psychology that helps you understand the human mind and behaviors for the application of service delivery. This program offers concentrations in:

  • Marriage and Family Studies
  • Leadership Psychology
  • Pre-PhD

Spiritual Direction Certificate

The program is made up of six online classes which include two four-day onsite residences, and practicum. The online classes are offered three times a year, in eight-week segments. The pillars of the program include: integration of theological and human sciences as they relate to spiritual development; learning the art and skills of human interactions; and the fruitful experience of supervision.

Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology

The Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology prepares students to become licensed Clinical Psychologists by providing them with the best empirical, scientific and clinical methods of psychology with a Catholic-Christian understanding of person, marriage and family.

M.S. in Counseling (online/hybrid)

The M.S. in Counseling degree program prepares students for a role as a licensed professional counselor who works to promote health and emotional/relational well-being with a diverse population, as well as diagnosing and treating a wide range of psychological issues by emphasizing the integration of a Catholic-Christian worldview.

The Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act or CARES Act, was passed by Congress on March 27th, 2020. This bill allotted $2.2 trillion to provide fast and direct economic aid to the American people negatively impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Of that money, approximately $14 billion was given to the Office of Postsecondary Education as the Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund, or HEERF.
